On July 4th, 2021, as our community was beginning to heal from the fractures of Covid, a group of women in the Yalecrest neighborhood of dreamed up a parade. With so much isolation and political turmoil these women envisioned a celebration where people of all ages with different beliefs and priorities could come together to cheer and celebrate their local businesses, little league coaches, dance teachers, high school sports teams, grocery stores.
