Stars & Stripes Parades is a non-profit organization dedicated to organizing and hosting the annual 4th of July parade in the historic Yalecrest neighborhood of Salt Lake City. Our mission is to bring the community together in celebration of this significant day in American history.
JOIN THE PARADE
Join a Float
Bring the spirit of The Stars and Stripes Parade to life with your own float! Whether you're representing a business, a neighborhood group, or just want to spread some patriotic joy, we’d love to have you in the lineup. Decorate a car, trailer, truck—or get creative!
Floats must be safe, family-friendly, and follow all parade guidelines. We'll assign you a spot and number upon check-in.
Check-in Time: 9:10–9:25 AM
Bike Parade
Join us for a joyful ride through the neighborhood! Kids and adults are invited to decorate their bikes, scooters, or wagons and show off their patriotic spirit. Streamers, flags, costumes—get creative!
Meet us at 8:45 AM at the Red LDS Chapel parking lot (1105 S 2000 E) to line up and check in.
We kindly ask for a $5 contribution per bike, which helps support parade-day activities and supplies. Thank you for helping us keep the tradition rollin
AfterParty at the Park
After the parade, the celebration continues! Join us at Laird Park for music, lawn games, local vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Pack a blanket, bring a picnic, or grab something tasty from one of our food trucks.
There will be activities for kids, a chance to meet our performers, and a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy the holiday with neighbors and friends.
